Aaliyah's debut album Age Ain't Nothin but a Number came out in 1994. In the age group of 15 the album was awarded Gold recognition. R. Kelly heavily influenced the collaboration and brought her up to the top of the charts. In 1996, Jermaine and Timbaland made Aaliyah's album One In A Million. It featured If Your Girls Only Knew, the most-sold single. Aaliyah was a well-known R&B artist after her album's release. She was a part of the action and romance movie Romeo Must Die alongside martial artist Jet-Li. Joel Silver, the film producer, met her at an awards show and suggested her the part. Queen of the Damned was her first role in 2002. The story is based on an Anne Rice novel. She then got into the Matrix with her role as Zee as Zee in The Matrix Sequels having also performed as a character in The Matrix Reloaded in 2003 as well as The Matrix Revolutions in the same year. Aarti uses both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn for her professional names. Although her early professional career was mostly dominated by small movie and TV parts, she gained prominence in the mid-2000s. In addition to The Big Bang Theory her other notable works are Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). In addition, she was a part of several commercials, including Volvo and other major automobile brand names. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues to work as an actress.
